NICABM offers a number of online courses for people in the medical field looking to enhance their continuing education. I had the chance to design the catalog being mailed out to people interested in these classes. The catalog was designed as a 2 column layout, with certain information always being at the top, and certain information always being at the bottom. Because it was a two color job, I chose a light blue and black for the inside. The purpose was to design something that presented a large amount of content in an appealing, aesthetic fashion. NICABM 2005 Conference
National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine hosts a conference every December in South Carolina. My responsibilities included designing the program book for this conference. That involved working with other members in the office to make sure the content was accurate, and laying it out in a way that would be easy to read for conference attendees. Pratt & Whitney Product Coin
I had the privilege of doing a six month internship at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford right after my first year of college. One of the pieces I had the opportunity to work on was a product coin for the Air National Guard. The Air National Guard flies F-15′s and F-16′s and, those two planes are equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines. I was able to work with my boss and the client to design a coin that the client would be able to hand out at air shows. Continue Reading »
