One of the marketing items we created for our readers was a bundle of article written by longtime columnist Tom Cantrell. Tom had been writing for Circuit Cellar for over 20 years, an in honor of his last column, we offered our readers to buy the bundle of his most recent articles for a low price. We broke it up into 2010-Present and 2009. I had to compile all the articles into 2 pdfs, and design a cover for both bundles.
Circuit Cellar e-mail blasts
One of my responsibilities is to create and design e-mail blasts we send out. I was charged with re-designing 2 current monthly e-mail campaigns, News Notes and Advertisers Broadcast. News Notes is sent out monthly to approximately 15,000 recipients, containing articles and advertising regarding the most recent issue of Circuit Cellar Magazine. The Advertisers Broadcast is sent out monthly to companies we think might be interested in advertising in our magazine or on our web site. My job was to re-design each of these two e-mail blasts separately to be used going forward. I am also responsible for sending out all other e-mail blasts as requested as well.
