The 2009 Media Kit was designed as a way to compile all advertising prices and options into one simple brochure. When exhibitors and companies inquire about advertising with MRA, we simply send them a copy of the Media Kit.

The kit was designed in 3 color coded sections, so that finding information about where or how the user wanted to advertise with MRA was simple. The tables containing prices, or other content was designed with a consistent look throughout the book, so that the reader could identify key information easily. It was designed as a 2 column page, with the majority of the important content being in the larger of the 2 columns.

MRA 2009 Annual Conference Collateral Material

Posted April 25th, 2010 in MRA, Portfolio, Print Design by Daniel

The 2009 Annual Conference collateral material includes 3 pieces designed leading up to the Annual Conference. The theme of the conference was “The Perfect Story”, so our marketing pieces were all about reading the story from a newspaper. We put the full page ad in our Alert! Magazine, mailed out the poster along with a pen to all our members, and worked with one of our exhibitors to print for the newspaper to distribute to our members at conference.

As Senior Graphic Designer, it was my responsibility to design all MRA print advertisements. Whether to be placed in another magazine, or in MRA’s own Alert! Magazine, I often worked with the marketing specialist on the concept and content of the ad. They varied in size, based on where they were going to be placed.

MRA Fall Conference 2008

Posted April 25th, 2010 in MRA, Portfolio, Print Design by Daniel

One of my first projects at MRA was the design of all collateral material for MRA’s Fall Conference that was to be held the following November in Las Vegas. While the logo and color scheme was already decided by the time I started, it was my responsibility to design the conference program book as well as all other conference promotional material.

The conference program book ended up being a 4 color cover/back cover, and 2 color throughout the majority of the book. The two colors used were black and a PMS orange color. All images had to be either black and white, or duo-toned with the PMS color, as we could not have any 4 color images except on the cover. Working in collaboration with the marketing specialist and eduducation director on the content, I designed the layout and placed the copy inside the book.

The Fall Conference Mailer was a piece I designed with guidance from the marketing specialist. The purpose was to design a piece that would be mailed out to potential attendees, laying out certain information in a clean orderly way, in an effort to get our members to attend the conference. The piece was designed to be folded over twice, having 4 columns.

MRA 2009 Annual Conference Program Book

Posted April 24th, 2010 in MRA, Portfolio, Print Design by Daniel

The 2009 Annual Conference Program book contained all the information relating to MRA’s 2009 Annual conference. Working with the marketing specialist, and the education director on all the content, it was my responsibility to layout the content in a way that made it easy to read by those attending the conference.

The book was a 2 color inside, with a 4 color cover, as well as certain advertisement pages in the back being four color as well. Using black and a PMS purple/blue color, all the text and images were a variety of these two colors, with the exception of the cover. Some images were made to be a duo-tone, and some were left as black and white.
